Phyrexian Hydra
42SituationalCreature — Phyrexian Hydra
Mirrodin Besieged
2HG Rating
42/100
Loses value in 2HG: poison / infect.
Weak in 2HGNeutralFormat staple
- −8Poison / infect
A 2HG team loses at 15 poison counters rather than 10, so infect clocks are slower than the raw numbers suggest.
Ratings start at a neutral 50 and are adjusted by rules derived from 2HG's structure — shared 60 life, shared turns, two opponents. They'll be recalibrated against real play rates once teams start submitting decklists.
Oracle text
Infect (This creature deals damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters and to players in the form of poison counters.) If damage would be dealt to this creature, prevent that damage. Put a -1/-1 counter on this creature for each 1 damage prevented this way.
