Tales of Middle-earth Commander
2HG Rating
46/100
Loses value in 2HG: monarch / initiative.
Weak in 2HGNeutralFormat staple
- −4Monarch / initiative
The monarch is still one player, not the team, and the other team can send both players' creatures at that one head in a single combined attack.
Ratings start at a neutral 50 and are adjusted by rules derived from 2HG's structure — shared 60 life, shared turns, two opponents. They'll be recalibrated against real play rates once teams start submitting decklists.
Oracle text
When your commander deals combat damage to a player, if there is no monarch, you become the monarch. At the beginning of the monarch's end step, that player draws a card.
