Core Set 2019
2HG Rating
41/100
Loses value in 2HG: incremental lifegain, team anthem.
Weak in 2HGNeutralFormat staple
- −5Incremental lifegain
60 shared life is a bigger pool than 20, so small lifegain is proportionally weaker — and it's the same pool your teammate is spending.
- −4Team anthem
Anthems only pump creatures you control — your teammate's board is untouched, so they're worse than they look.
Ratings start at a neutral 50 and are adjusted by rules derived from 2HG's structure — shared 60 life, shared turns, two opponents. They'll be recalibrated against real play rates once teams start submitting decklists.
Oracle text
+2: You gain 1 life for each creature you control. −3: Creatures you control get +2/+2 until end of turn. −9: Put X +1/+1 counters on target creature, where X is your life total.
